In the beginning, it started out as a cut out in the framing by www.tinysmarthouse.com

This is a Velux skylight window and it came in the window package for the Willamette Farmhouse model. So, I don't know the retail price to tell ya but I'm sure you can find it online. It's a Velux Integra, Model VS, Deck Mounted Skylight. Dimensions 44 ½ “ x 18 ½” designed for roof pitches 14 to 98 with an energy performance rating. It’s tight. We love it.

Tiny House Skylight by Seasons
If a tiny house stays in the same area for a year, how cool is it that one can watch the change of the seasons from the loft.
The season of Spring is a happy thing, watching clouds roll by and seeing buds popping up from the treetops. Great for nature viewing too – tiny has seen eagles, turkey vultures and many birds fly over.
If you’re a tiny houser... What have you seen peering through your skylight?

Tiny being in the Western region presently, is hot in the Summer so, pinned up a piece of fabric to block the heat (image below). How awesome to use a special gift from a friend who brought me this colorful fabric from the island of Antigua.

How serene and peaceful to wake up to the clouds softly rolling by or a storm in the winter.

Watching the cycles of the moon is beyond awesome from a skylight. Star gazing, identifying planets, even seeing meteors go by… and, maybe, even UFOs, lol . . .

A tiny house skylight has got to be one of the greatest benefits when living tiny.
It's great to see the sky again after having a blanket of smoke all summer from the wildfires. Appreciate the skylight and thank our firefighters. ♥
